Dr William Amos Pallangyo
Dr William Amos Pallangyo hold a PhD in Policy, Development and Management from the University of Manchester (UK), Masters in Governance and Development from the University of Antwerp (Belgium) and Advanced Diploma in Public Administration from the Institute of Development Management-Mzumbe (Tanzania). He is currently working as a Senior Lecturer of Leadership and Management at the Law School of Tanzania. Previously, he was working with the Open University of Tanzania as Senior Lecturer of public administration and public policy. He has taught in the Tanzanian higher learning institutions for over fifteen years. He has conducted several research studies in education, public administration, public policies, development and management and monitoring and evaluation. He has published four books on the Tanzanian local government reforms, managing consultancy, training of trainers and open and distance learning research policy. He has also published seventeen peer reviewed articles on government reforms, public policies, religions and public leadership qualities, governance, corruption, e-revenue collection, combating crimes in the city, decentralization of health services, multiple land use and conflicts, East African political federation, East African customs union, staple foods, women and petty traders, and other contemporary policy issues. He has supported the public and private sectors by provision of consultancies to over forty clients, including, the ministries, departments, agencies and international and local non-governmental organizations. Some of the clients include, Ministry of Constitution and Legal Affairs (Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar), Eduardo Mondlane University (Mozambique), Judiciary of Tanzania, UNDP, UNICEF, ILO, UNU-Wider, Oxfam, Save the Children and World Food Program.
