Mr. Constantine George

Mr. Constantine GeorgeMr. Constantine George is a PhD candidate at the Institute of Development Studies, University of Dar es Salaam. His PhD study focuses on the Challenges of Formalising Street Vendors’ Businesses in Dar es Salaam City, Tanzania. Constantine has a background in education, specialized in Educational Planning, Management and Administration. His other focus areas include financing in education, policy making and analysis and quality control and assurance in education. Currently, he works as a researcher at REPOA-research institute based in Tanzania. Before joining to REPOA for more than four years he taught undergraduate courses at the University of Dar es Salaam (MUCE Campus) and Ruaha Catholic University. At present he is writing papers on the Bargaining in the Taxitaion of Informal Sector in Tanzania and Uganda; and Shifting Financial Responsibility: The Financing of the Productive Social Safety Nets in Tanzania in co-authorship with other project members under Political Settlements and Revenue Bargains in Africa. Constantine holds a Master Degree in Educational Management and Administration (MEMA) from the University of Dar es Salaam.
